A short walk south down Anzac Parade will take you to Appleton Park, a fully fenced and shaded children’s playground that offers almost endless activities for the kids, including an all abilities playground, sandpit and mini bike track, plus BBQ’s, tables and public toilets to make it an ideal family outing. Just next to the park is the Yeppoon skate park, where the bigger kids will happily spend hours scooting around.
