Ledge Point
Western Australia
Ledge Point is a small coastal township 105 km north of Perth, Western Australia. It was established to service the local fishing and cray-fishing industries. This small cray fishing town is ideal for relaxing weekend getaways, midweek escapes, or a stopover enroute to more Northern destinations. It is only 10km south of Lancelin, where most services and facilities are available. There is a small general store for emergency rations!
Ledge Point has an abundance of accommodation available from holiday homes, to a modern new caravan park and apartments right on the beach and is the perfect place for a quick beach getaway.
The world-famous Ledge to Lancelin windsurfing race, the Ocean Classic, commences from the beach in the centre of town and ends in Lancelin. The race itself attracts entrants from around the world.
